Products & Services

Search the Alpha catalogue before adding or editing an item. Manage catalogue visibility, access overrides, categories, images and portal status without changing QuickBooks catalogue activation.

Core catalogue information.

For existing items, changing the title also updates the linked QuickBooks item name.

QuickBooks linkage

Reuse an existing QuickBooks item or create a new one when this Alpha item is saved.

The QuickBooks item name may appear on customer invoices. Linking does not change the Alpha title or description.

Image

Upload an image or use an external image URL.

No image
JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB. The existing image is not deleted from storage when replaced.
The external URL takes precedence over an uploaded image.

Pricing

Alpha remains the catalogue pricing master.

Brand, category & compatibility

Brand, product category and chassis compatibility are managed independently.

Who makes the item. Existing catalogue items may remain unassigned until reviewed.
Compatibility is independent of brand. A non-EKS item can still fit Eagle or Condor.
Only needed when an item belongs to more than one category. A sole category is automatically primary.

Shipping

Only applies to physical products.

Catalogue visibility

Set the normal catalogue audience, then optionally grant additional access.

Public is visible to everyone. Retail is visible to logged-in retail customers and dealers. Dealer is visible to dealers only. Admin is hidden from customer catalogues unless an access override applies.
Overrides only broaden access beyond the normal visibility above. They do not replace the normal visibility setting.

Catalogue status

Controls Alpha portal visibility only.

SKU

The global numeric suffix is allocated automatically and cannot be edited.

Previewing does not consume the next SKU number.
